How Much is the NECO 2026 Registration Fee?

The total cost for the NECO 2026 registration includes the examination fee and mandatory materials. Below is the official breakdown:

Requirements for NECO 2026 Registration

To complete your NECO 2026 registration, students must meet the following criteria:

1. NIN Requirement: A valid National Identification Number is mandatory for all candidates.

2. School Status: Candidates must be in their final year (SS3) of a government-approved secondary school.

3. Passport Photograph: Digital capture must be done in the official school uniform.

4. Biometric Data: Candidates must undergo fingerprint capturing via the NECO offline application.

How to Register for NECO 2026 (For Schools)

The NECO 2026 registration process is a collaboration between students and their school administrators:

1. Offline Data Entry: Schools download the 2026 SSCE Internal offline application to capture candidate bio-data and NIN.

2. Payment: Schools make bulk payments through the NECO portal using the TSA (Treasury Single Account).

3. Online Upload: Once payment is confirmed, schools upload the offline data to the official NECO portal.

4. Biometric Verification: Students must verify their identity using a fingerprint scanner.

5. Photocard Printing: After successful upload, the school prints the candidate’s photocard, which is required for hall entry.
